Wellness Exams

We are committed to keeping your pets healthy!

Not every vaccination is necessary for every pet. We will discuss with you what vaccinations and prevention products are best suited for your specific pet.

We take time and listen to your concerns regarding preventative care and maintenance products and tailor your pet's veterinary care for his/her lifestyle/age, overall health, and exposure levels. Furthermore, we are committed to trying to provide your pets with the most positive experience that we can, as our staff is currently undergoing training for Fear Free Certification. This means lots of positive reinforcement and trying to improve your pets' experiences so they become more accepting of their visits, instead of more fearful.

Dental Care

Teeth are important for humans and pets alike.

The part of animal dentistry which is most concerning is that pets typically do not complain if their mouths are hurting them. In fact, it is more common for painful teeth to go unnoticed; once those teeth have been removed, owners see an improved energy and attitude that they did not even realize had been diminished.

If we did not thoroughly brush our teeth each day, we would get plaque buildup just as severely as our pets do. If that plaque, and subsequent adhering bacteria, sit on the teeth month after month or year after year, it is common for gums and teeth to become diseased and need removal. Let's try to prevent pain and unnecessary tooth loss. Prevention is key!

IF your pet should need dental extractions, we are capable of providing that service as well. To screen for underlying dental issues, we recommend opting for dental radiographs during your pet's dental cleaning.

Sick Pets

As much as we try to keep your pets healthy and free of diseases, some times our furbabies get sick! Rest assured that we will do whatever we can to diagnose and treat your pet.

We will tailor your pet's diagnostic/treatment plan to your comfort level and budget, the absolute best we can. We have in-house laboratory equipment to offer most bloodwork results within 30 minutes as well as a new state of the art digital x-ray unit which was hand selected for those times we need to keep our patients standing (ex: extra large pets, pets having trouble breathing, scared pets who we may not want to sedate). Furthermore, we have 2 emergency referral hospitals within 6 miles from our clinic.

If your pet needs referral for emergency or specialty service, our digital medical charts allow us to email your pet's full medical record plus radiographs very quickly.

Surgery

Our large surgical suite features a brand new patient monitoring system and general anesthesia machine as well as a heated surgery table to keep your pet as safe and comfortable as possible.

Surgeries offered include the following:

Routine spay/neuters
Eyelid correction and growth removals
Cutaneous/Subcutaneous Growth removals
Cystotomy
Foreign Body Obstruction surgery.

All surgeries are done on an outpatient-basis only, so your furbaby will be home before the end of the day.
